ISC 1-0 Strangers. Automatic win and a 1 point deduction for Strangers as agreed before kickoff

Maybe if Tim goes on to win the golden boot you might get a moan from whoever was second, but I don’t think anyone is too fussed.

And to be fair the initial shot was on target into the bottom left corner so could be one for the dubious goals panel!

Actually one of ISCs was an own goal. Not something to be proud of I know but its the only way my name’s ever going to be on the scorers sheet!

I was told that Isc wanted to play a friendly due to the large amounts of Atkins players on the Strangers team and therefore a 1-0 default score would be recorded. If we thought it was a league game we would have tried harder….although it probably wouldn’t have made any difference.

Big thanks to the Atkins team (and the ref) for stepping in. I’m sure the standard was way lower than what they’re used to but I personally had one of the most enjoyable games of the season.

After many failed attempts we finally beat Atkins – me not playing may have something to do with it!

Dunc – Phil’s last game for us last night, he flys out to Aus at the weekend

An injury ravaged Strangers team meant most of Atkins played (rather tired after playing before) so a bit one sided as a result. Some proper quality saves from the ref who played in goal for Strangers though – different class!

Deserved win for Buro.

Let in a few soft early goals and then Buro killed us with simple passing, like Dg3 used to do and Phil always adds a bit of classy composure which makes our all action style look silly.

Thank goodness we’ve got strangers next week to try and get the ball rolling again.
