   Bowman Riley 0-0 Brewster Bye

   Close fought game with very few chances due to neither team being able to field a side. Both sets of fans were unimpressed with the lack of interest shown although did get a decent tan on the beach. Sorry, pitch

   Boooo! Kind of like playing each other off the pitch, in the literal sense!

   Sturgeon North 2 - 0 Harris

   Scorers: McTrusty, Binyon

   Not exactly a hard fought game as Sturgeons scored 2 early goals and then settled for returning Harris’s mighty goal kicks back up field with interest. Sturgeon’s tally probably should have been more but it was a bit warm and our strike force seemed to have forgotten how to pass (a bit rich coming from me that).

   Atkins 0 - Robinsons 0.

   Atkins are out of the Carling Cup on penalties.

   All part of the plan so we can concentrate on the league - honest guv!

   Entirely my fault as I am in no shape to play 6 minutes, never mind 60 - worst striker ever…

   SGP won again, 3-1

   Our scorers were Deano (2) and Chapman (1)

   Dunc, you loser ;p, it’s not the Carling Cup. They won’t return my calls about sponsoring it.

   8pm have been in touch though so it is going to be called that until I get a better deal
